Running nicely... his generals who were most likely are the Gemini twins, fell in the same move as my troops move in order down the hill.

@Rico not looking good for me, down 20% so far. @Nelson1812 had a good position with some forces hidden. My overconfidence in my praetorians may be my undoing, I am paying the price for my arrogance.

Good game, @Nelson1812 , I threw my legions against your defensive position thinking I could easily dislodge your forces, how wrong I was. A well deserved 59 to 8 victory to you, well played!
Apologies -- seem to have missed this last battle result last week.
After keeping out the GREEN invasion of ITALIA, the RED Victory in THRACIA concludes the ROMAN CIVIL WARS FOGII campaign and, with a final score of +1 POINTS, @Nelson1812 is the winner amongst the ROMAN factions.
(Overall winners are the Barbarians with +4 points after conquering four Roman provinces -- commanded by the able Sassanid general @chiquichops and @Rico .
GREEN (@Josey Wales ) and BLUE (@Bootie & @Badger73 ) are tied for 2nd place with -1 points.
PURPLE (@Nathangun ) got eliminated after losing all home provinces
Thanks to all the participants -- hope everybody enjoyed this format -- and it certainly worked well as a simple, quick and fun campaign.

@Rico yeah this is a great format. I really like the fact that it's limited to just a few campaign turns so we can resolve the game and declare a winner after just a few months.
