The Goths in THRACIA have been gifted a strong position on hills, flanked by woods, fronted by marshes ... the Wellsonius's BLUE legions have quite a job their hands digging them out of there.

The BLUE victory effectively means the demise of the GREEN faction, with the Caesar aspirant Enigmatus reportedly fleeing to exile in Parthia... and the last forlorn GREEN garrisons hanging on in SYRIA, only a matter of time before they surrender...

Despite their strong defensive position, the Goths in THRACIA have been defeated and routed ... (note to self: Germannic Barbarians not so hot on the defensive)
The BLUE legions can now turn and face off in a final reckoning with the REDS for who regains control of the war-ravaged province in the next turn.

We have arrived at the start of the final TURN 10 of this campaign... and we can pretty much declare the BLUE faction of Caesar @Wellsonian and his veteran generals, @Badger73 and @Mad Mike , worthy winners of this campaign.
The GREEN faction has been crushed, it's last garrisons in SYRIA besieged, it's fleet in the Mare Orientale soon to be left without bases or safe harbour.
The RED faction, still fighting tooth and nail for THRACIA, are reduced to two provinces, ASIA and PONTUS, -- they are clinging on, looking over their shoulders for a BLUE invasion from SYRIA or renewed incursion by the dreaded Parthians.
For this last turn, the following action points are available:
RED: 1
BLUE: 4
GREEN: 0
We can fight this last turn out -- especially the final battle for THRACIA -- or just call it and declare the BLUES winner, hold a triumph in Rome for the victors and move on to the next campaign?

- If no Parthians attack Syria nor Nomads attack Aegyptus nor the Green Garrison sorties forth, assault with Syrian Legion into Pontus.
- In no Nomads attack Aegyptus, move Aegyptus Legion into Syria.
- Increase Pannonia garrison from 1 to 2.
