I think I just fixed it. Try the turn 003 that is now in the folder.Nort, I tried to open the file and it is corrupt, the message mentions that you might have to zip the file. I have never seen that before.

@KGPanther & @SlySniper my puny laptop keeps crashing loading my turn.
Is it a big map? does it have lots of threes? or a city map?
Otherwise I will have to concede the battle.

You should not be able to open it as the first file is for German setup first. I didnt have an issue opening it, but it did take a bit to load.@KGPanther & @SlySniper my puny laptop keeps crashing loading my turn.

Reverting to a version of the drivers that I know were working didn't change a thing. Guess I'm out.
I mean, the machine can run STALKER 2, this is kinda funny actually.
I just checked the file for you and it works fine and opens, so it appears your machine is not handling it.I mean, the machine can run STALKER 2, this is kinda funny actually.
I think the size of this battle is going to test a lot of guys' rigs when all the moving and firing starts, including mine.
I thought I remembered reading somewhere that this tournament was going to have much smaller battles than the last one, or am I imagining it?
How much system memory do you have? 16GB is the norm nowadays and is plenty enough. Try closing down background programs running. For example, Dropbox is a memory hog. You can always restart it when your done with the turn to send it.I am getting out of memory errors. Might be my AMD drivers, I'll try reverting to an older version. If that doesn't work, I guess I'm out.
I think an even better way is to position the camera at a corner or edge of the map viewing nothing, then hit go. So theres literally nothing the game has to render at the start of the next turn. Of course it still has to load everything units/terrain.What has helped me is I zoom in to a close up on a unit before I end the turn. Then, when I start the next turn, it loads fairly quickly. When I zoom out to view the whole map before I end the turn, when the next turn starts, it takes forever to load.
