This is a console game and i have this game on PS 3 and it is my routine to play this game daily and i love this game.the person plays this game first time he gets in the fame of this one.

Finally picked this one back up. Decided its time to mod the heck out of it beforehand though.

MTK:
I put that code in the Skyrimprefs.ini Is that the correct one?

I opened the game and the textures look sharper, but it's been a while since I played so I cant tell. Lemme knopw. Alos, if anyone has any "MUST HAVE" mods, please let me know about them. I'll try and do the same.

Bootie:
Really not that far into it. I tried to start as the rebels, but got mixed up running away from the dragon and sided with an imperial soldier.

Dont know how it will play out because I'm still pretty mad at them for wanting to cut my head off. :)

Did it remove fog from map window?
You should put it into skyrim.ini

Where is your Skyrim.ini? In the folder Skyrim installed, all I see that is close to that is Skyrimprefs.ini

Looked back into the game and I do notice a few locations I did not notice before, but nothing spectacular. I must be missing something :(

Go to C:\Users\[yourusername]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim
It should be there.
Open it with notepad.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, frigging forgot about that. I personally am not a fan of games that make the modifications in the user profile, but that's just the breaks.

Yes, very kewl...all 3D and showing rivers and such. VERY nice!

Currently looking into something similar and this site seems to have alot of nice mods:

I'm using same source ( skyrimnexus )....BUt i said already...no mods except better sky mod, and this one.

Oh yes...I'm using something else...

One thing that i was always ****ed of ( since Morrowind ) is very narrow field of view ( FOV ). I felt like i'm watching game from barrel.

Way around is to use console ( ~ key ), and type in fov [number].
I use fov 90, it looks very nice.

I'll upload images in few minutes

Ok here it is.

I dont understand this one. Is this a setting in the .ini file or a mod executable (.exe or something?) Looking forward to seeing the screenshots

When you are in game, press ~ button ( left of 1 :) ) and type in fov 90. It will be like a blessing to you :)

Disregard last post. Interesting.....

I dont mind either view. They are both really nice. I will have to experiment.

^ it's much easier to find your way in closed areas. You can see much more, like you are looking it with your own eyes.

Of course, you can use values like 180 wich will give you 180 degrees view :)
That could be fun if you are high on something....

I found a rather... creative way for dealing with giants at lower levels:
1) get yourself a companion.
2) Get yourself a bow, preferably with bonus damage (magic, elemental etc.) - you don't need to be a good shot, you'll hit well enough and increase your shooting skill while doing it.
3) Attack the giant, then run.
4) Let him catch up but not before you have found a big rock which you can jump upon but thegiant can't simply get up on.
5) This is the fun part: the AI will attack you when near enough, but when you leap down will ALWAYS try to get AROUND the rock, but not OVER it. That way you can easily fool the giant and pepper him with arrows while doing it. The companion is for additional damage and directing the giant's attention elsewhere.

Have fun killing your first giant!

I don't fight with giants. They look very peacefully and minding their own business.
I killed only two giants, and they were thieves. I killed first with help of my dragon ( quite interesting to watch ) , and until i got to second one, i already had Heavy Weapons at 99 :)

btw, i play at Expert level.
