It’s a World War 2 carrier that got the moderization treatment once or twice. It’s big, but the Nimitz and newest class are a longer by about 28 meters or more. The Midway is 1001’ long, the Nimitz is 1092’ and the Ford is 1106’.

I think the Midway was the first USN ship that couldn’t fit through the Panama Canal....
