I would say that no one today needs any of that either, it's just that the standard has been set to an artificial level, people want to actually look like they do with filters and photoshop. People used to go to a plastic surgeon with a photo of a model and say ' I want that nose ' or ' I want to look like that' etc. Now , it is common for someone to turn up with a photo of themselves taken with a filter. The crazy future is here and now.
