Alas, but the first casualty of this endeavor was the plan to set up on a table in view of the camera, as the place was packed and we had no idea how long before we could get a table outside on the deck. All attempts to hook up with the net on my Kindle and my laptop failed, as I could hook up with their WI-FI, but couldn't get internet access.

Towards the end of summer (August) I will start a thread regarding the 6th Annual Gathering of A Few Good Men (Sept /Oct 2016), at which point we will take input as to the best date to have the event, so as to maximize attendance.

Thats works for me Facman - I don't mind taking my family up the coast for a surfing and then and FGM gathering! Tis the season!

@Enven There is a state park adjacent to the restaurant we hold the gathering in (camping allowed). As well as a local surfing beach. There are a couple of nice motels nearby as well.
