Hello Gentlemen

I have been in discussion with the AF French Club and their representatives here Corsaire31 and Henniak and we have agreed upon the format of a tournament between our 2 clubs.

So far we have hammered out the following protocol.

1 - 8 Players each side.
2 - Mirrored Battles
3 - 4 Maps - We produce 2 and they produce 2.
4 - CMAK
5 - 1500 Pts
6 - Unrestricted OB's
7 - Attack v Defend

So I need 7 players to sign up.

1 - Bootie
2 - Cargol
3 - AirborneBob
4 - PoorOldSpike
5 - Bert Blitzkrieg
6 - Sempai
7 - Johnsy
8 - WarDog

And I also need someone to work on 2 maps for our side of the deal.

Anyone interested?

Alright I'm in, 1500 sounds small and fast, I like it..:)
PS: Appui-Feu is one of my old clubs, I was a member for the best part of a year around 2004 and sat at the top of their ladder for most of that time, wonder if they remember me ha ha..:)

@ Poor Old Spike : I confirm they remember you ( I was also there in 2004 but I rarely play for ladder, mostly for fun) They also remember your infamous "stack of tanks" doctrine...LOL I'm sure that when they see your name and "unrestricted", they will have a heart attack... I hope someone will accept to play against you.:lol:

That was so quick that a lot of people didn't even get a chance to sign up. sign me up anyway, in case you extend it, which you should.

Ha ha, I think it was an Appui-Feu moderator named "Tigre" (?) who invited me to join their club around 04, he'd just seen me top the Rugged Defense Club ladder.
Nobody else at A-F knew me, and as soon as I joined i challenged their top 10 players and they were laughing in their forum, saying "Who does this newcomer Poor Old Spike think he is, he's challenged all our best players!", and wiithin a couple of months I'd blitzkrieged my way to the top of their ladder..:)
I then left to join the German Wargames-Player Club around 2004/5 to give them the same blitzkrieg treatment, and got to the top of their ladder too, ha ha!

PS- most of my CM games have been fast-moving armoured Meeting Engagements, but the AF v FGM tourney will be Attack/Defends which i have little experience of, so I'm expecting to have a hard time..;)
 
Yep, it was. Tigre was one of the creators of AF, a very good player and good friend. He moved to Italy and have lost his track...
 
OK both teams are on, just now waiting for the maps. I would suggest one Italy and one Desert ? What do you think ?
1500 pts on a large map so tanks have a little room to move ?
