The election in the Province of Alberta has thrown the 44 year reign of the Conservatives out of office and the New Democratic Party (NDP) won a majority. The NDP are the socialist party here in Canada. This victory has the federal conservatives shaking in their boots and rightfully so. THEY ARE NEXT to enter the unemployment line...though that is not likely they are all lawyers and accountants.
I do know that the inmates in our local prison are dancing in their cells. Our Federal party wants to bring in laws that if they are lifers meaning the killed someone they will never get out of prison ever. Even the guards do not want this law to pass either because their jobs will become even more dangerous. Like one inmate said if the government does this then there will be many more killings in prisons. They all feel the once convicted on murder once and one get life then the second murder and so on is free.
