Chicago Piano - Originally in the 1920s and 1930s, this was a slang term referring to the Thompson 0.45 caliber sub-machine gun, supposedly the weapon of choice of Chicago gangsters. During WW2, this was then used as a nickname often applied to almost any multi-barreled AA gun, most commonly to the British 2-pdr, British quad 0.50" and USN 1.1" AA guns.
