Watched a program the other day, called Time Team. It follows some boffins around who love digging up old stuff from all over the UK.
This program is a little old, but was a great watch. They followed the team as they went to France to uncover a crashed spitfire.
Normally they have 3 days to do what they do before the program ends and they recover over the find.
