It's been asked a couple of times so let me start off with:
There is no limit to the amount of people who can sign up.
It just needs to be an even number or the last odd man becomes a reserve.
I will start sending out turns on MAY 1st
I don’t know what’s come over me but I have decided to start a second tournament.
Since the first, Scouts Out, was all Meeting Engagements this one will be all Probes.
I couldn’t come up with a catchy name so just decided to call it really what it is Tournament II – The Probes.
These should be interesting scenarios for everyone.
There will be several types of victory conditions for each probes, combinations of Location and Unit Objectives plus Exit requirements.
I’ll try and make these unique and maybe something you have never played before.
Also, I plan on making a call out to scenario designers to create a scenario or two. You know, maybe someone who knows what they’re really doing.
I hope everyone who reads this will sign up.
Please let me know if you have and questions or suggestions.
I’m still new to this so any and all comments always appreciated.
Tournament II – The Probes.
Requirements:
CM Battle of Normandy – V4.0/Game Engine 4 with all modules
CM Final Blitzkrieg – V2.0/Game Engine 4
(Modules must be patched when or if the patches come out)
Overview:
I am the Tournament Administrator (TA)
This is a CMx2 tournament using newly designed scenarios.
Tournament games will be with an equivalent of Tiny or Small size force.
The Tournament will be played over four scenarios, with a time frame of 30-45 minutes each.
Two scenarios will be CM Battle of Normandy and two will be CM Final Blitzkrieg.
Each side will attack once for each game.
There will be two groups, or divisions, of players Allied and Axis.
Players will choose which division they would like to play in for all four scenarios.
There will be TWO WINNERS
Since the balance of the scenarios has not been determined there will be two winners: The Allied player with the highest combined score and the Axis player with the highest total combined score.
*** It is important to remember, that your true opponents are not those you are playing against… but your fellow Axis or Allied players. It is therefore important to gain as many points as possible even if it is a losing cause! ***
There will be a running thread with scores and standings.
Scoring:
Total of the three best results will be added for a player’s final score.
The lowest score will be dropped.
Numbers
Minimum of 12 sign ups required to start.
There must be an even number of players in each division.
If an odd number of players sign up the last player to sign can be put on a “Reserve†list.
Start date, to be determined.
WHEN SIGNING UP BE SURE TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO BE ALLIED, AXIS OR NO PREFERENCE.
IF YOU DO NOT SAY THEN I WILL ASSUME "NO PREFERENCE".
Once the sign up is complete I will start a rules thread.
OK here we go......
