Is there a way to change the direction of a trench, i know how to do with multiplie, in this case just have one

AFAIK the only way to do it is if you have more than one.

I don't know what to do if you purchase only one though.
Try purchasing trenches in the scenario editor and practice connecting them to face in different directions.
In short order you'll get used to it.
