That was my guess. I kind of like it.....a little mini binge followed by appointment viewing like the Mandalorian.
I'll probably wait 'em out and binge watch all 10 later.

I just crushed all three. Quality has been maintained, and my favorite character, Amos, gets to work early.

Haven't watched the series but a huge fan of the books. Think theres like 8 or 9 of them. And anyone I've lost a H2H CM game against I spot on this thread is getting a spoiler rich PM.
I think it's more about enhancing profits in the video streaming business model. Weekly episodes require free trial customers to subscribe if they wish to watch an entire series and stretching it out over several months decreases the likelihood of new subscribers dropping out after their first month.
Still, I agree with you and prefer watching The Mandalorian and The Expanse in more bite-size pieces instead of binging the whole thing all at once.

The Expanse is ok to watch and I like the way the Beltars talk with a mix of words from different languages but with their endings cut off. The best character is Miller and the next best is Camina mostly because she seems to have fine juggs.
I see my library has season 1 on DVD.

Yeah, that's a reasonable assessment.
I would recommend accessing You Tube and watch a primer on the story. The sooner you can grasp and understand who
represents the three major political factions, the easier it will be to understand what is going on from the start. Invaluable.

Listened to the audiobooks up to book six(I think?), very very well done, should watch the TV series at some point I guess. I get the feeling I may be disappointed though, having to compress so much book into TV you just can't fit it all into a reasonable timeframe.
I've done both, the TV series won't disappoint.

Just got back to this and watched #3. I didn't find the first 2 episodes all that good. My problem as I really don't give a fook about Naomi's guilt over
her abandoned son (villian though he may be) or Alex's angst over his ex and his kids. However, things got a lot better with this recent episode. Drummer rules!

I'm on the fifth episode of the fifth series (S05E05) and like this series better than the last one. The last one was mostly about that planet but there are four different stories in this, the fifth, one.

For the first time in forever, I am actually up-to-date with the most recent episode of this (any!!) series. Loving this season.
Interesting to see how Naomi's perona changes (hardens?) after this current challenge. And Drummer is getting the world shoved down her throat.....
As much as there are real-life allegations against Alex (Cas Anwar) (proven?), I have enjoyed his character this season. Perhaps with his imminent departure, he is giving it his all?

Agreed, Season 4 was a bit meh TBH. Not crap like certain Walking Dead seasons, but not up to par with other Expanse seasons....
