[TV Series] - Ultimate Force

Just got finished watching the BBC show "Ultimate Force" (all 21 episodes) and liked it very much. It's about 22nd Regiment of the SAS. Surprisingly, it took a bit of time to get comfortable with it, but after 3-4 shows or so I was hooked. The accents threw me for a little while as well.

I do have some minor complaints. Since there was occasionally a significant time lapse between episodes the show would lose actors and do little in the way of giving much detail what happened to their characters. I think it was at the start of season 3 when the program opens with a gratuitous, and confusing, firefight that ends in about 2 minutes. Thereafter we learn that three main members of the team died! Whaaaa! In the last season a show starts with a funeral of Trooper Dwyer(sp). I had to Google the show cast to figure out who he bloody was. They never explain how he died!

Some story lines just end, never to be resolved or mentioned again. In one, Caroline (intel ofc) is shot to pieces in a firefight and almost dies. Then, she returns in the next episode and no one even mentions the incident. Then in the episode where the three are killed there is a 2 second shot of someone clearing off her desk nameplate and a casual mention she'd been transferred. Lastly, there is no conclusion. The series just ends as if the producers hadn't been told that was it!

The good news that is when Heather Peace shows up as Becca and immediately shows us her tits (and does it twice more in other shows). She's gorgeous and a scene stealer for two season! She's a G.I. Jane type and the show tries to convince us she's straight by a silly sex scene later, but we all know better. I mean she passed SAS training! Besides, she's gay in real life (I had to check up on her).

That said, I really did like it. A lot. Here's some more stuff about it:
