A dedication to Toy Caldwell. Mr. Caldwell is true American patriot who volunteered for the US Marines and was wounded in Vietnam. Upon healing he was given orders to go state-side to finish his service time. However, Toy convinced his commanders to allow him to return to his Marine combat unit until his discharge in 1969. He was a talented guitar player who never liked using a guitar pick so he played complicated guitar solos using his thumb. You will know Toy's voice and recognize him as founder of The Marshall Tucker Band. True patriots in this band! Toy's brother Tommy also served in the US Marines and played bass guitar in the band.
