WWI Air Combat Game

You will not have much fun playing flight simulation without joystick.

Lol a game called Mission: ww1 Combat... sound familiar?

(I have no idea if its any good I just read it on the link)

Oh, btw, there is WW1 arena in Aces High II.
But again - you need joystick.

I am familiar with Wings of War, have a couple of WW2 aircraft, thanks to Wonderjeep for turning me on to it. Remember, he has a gaming shop. Unfortunately, living in the Ozark foothills of Arkansas, other gamers are as hard to find as a full set of teeth.

As an aside...How do you find a virgin in Arkansas?

Find a girl that runs faster than her cousins!

Well guys i am also addicted of the air combat game and i have played the top rated games like
IAF
Rapter 22
both games are best for the air combat.

@Facman: Just for your information - if you are still searching - yesterday I bought at STEAM a WWI flight combat game called "Sid Meier's Ace Patrol". :)
And for only 5.00 EUROS!

It is so cool and so much fun that I bought the other game called "Ace Patrol - Pacific Skies" as well!

Hopefully there will be a somewhat more complex, higher levelled game of that style in the future. :) (maybe with an internet multiplayer connection)

Here, if you'd like to check it out at YouTube first for to have a first look:

Well, it is only for 5.00 EUR - the missions are somewhat short and not so many. Your squadron only consists of four (2 men + 2 women...?o_O) and the multiplayer is only
per "hotseat". The 2nd game "Ace Patrol - Pacific Skies" has some more improvements to the gameplay regarding the look of your machines and squadron members.
The graphics in my opinion is a little bit too much "comic like" - should be more "realistic" for my taste - but it is not disturbing.

But that's it with the "contras" - overall I like that game very much, it is a lot of fun and I guess that even in the long view I will play it from time t time because of the
many different flight maneuvres you can do. I even wished there was a more "complex" game of that style available.

I would buy it again at once. :)

rise of flight it´s sure the best of the bests

Watched a YouTube video about it right now - the graphics looks great but it is a bit too much hctic I guess. Not my ciup of tea though. ;)

Does anyone know something about Battlefront's "Down in Flames" ? Can neither find a video on YT nor a demo to playtest.
Is it a turn based game?

***EDIT****

Found a Demo! (at BF's homepage)

installing it tright now! :)
