He had an orderly who is portrayed in "Patton". The orderly returned to Germany to be a pallbearer at Patton's funeral. His name was William George Meeks.Ha! That's what I was thinking, it's probably some corporal's job shining the generals helmet every morning and god help him if he missed a spot. Military Bullshi*t.
