You can update during the game, usually no problem ... but if your opponent hasn't updated he won't be able to open the pbem file until he does ... I'll see if I can update by this evening.

Where did you see a 1.52 patch?... matrix games still only offering 1.51 patch?

Bad aspect of CtGW is that there doesn't seem to be final results screen of rPBEM games.
Yeah, after watching this demoralising last turn, I surrendered. Didn't really see any chance, you were solidly beating me in the Middle East, the Russian Front, in Turkey, in Serbia and Italy just entered the war. I probably should have started playing the AI first.
Sorry about not communicating this earlier, but I wrote a message in the game itself and thought you would still be able to read it.
The main thing I find annoying in this otherwise fine game is the playback of the opponents turn. It is just too fast, the whole western front plays in like 10 seconds on my computer and I really have to concentrate to watch and see everything, since there is no rewind and no way to slow this down, as far as i know. A major deficiency in the game, at least for me.
Hmm... with CMRT hiatus, I am keen to give this another run over the festive holidays into the New Year.
