Back to the disease outbreak.

In these days, I cannot help but be proud of the people of this little country. While I read that Italians do not stay at home when their government tells them to, everyone I talk to here are dedicated to doing their part to stop this virus. Every social event is cancelled, we disinfect and keep our distance.

I can't help but to think of that scene in 300. We might be a small country, but whatever we had in the Viking age, we still got a bit of it.

Does this mean we can't burn the heretic?

Not without Warrant from the Spanish Inquisition (as opposed to Affliction from the Spanish Influenza)! :shockaroona:

But back to the topic at hand, I find the total absence of data from North Korea and minimal information from Russia conspicuously curious. Does anyone else wonder what's going on in those parts of the world?

Sounds like a lot of sissy shit to me.
Perhaps, mi amigo, but we both know you're mostly on the Neanderthal to Homo Habilus side of empathetic capabilities . . . :singer:

Good food for deep thinking, @Hub6actual. We are a sum of our experiences. While life is precious, it ain't easy.
For my own part, I concur that I prefer experiencing this plague now than I might have when younger. As a retiree/pensioner ward of the state my fixed income remains steady and I'm used to being mostly at home. My next door neighbor, however, has three children under seven now quarantined homebound and the primary wage earner in that family just lost her job. They have reserves and extended family support but I'm certain their anxiety level is much higher than mine.

Stay healthy, Komeraden, and help out when you can.

One hour to go before the end of the first day of national isolation ordered by the government.
The news is not the 30 new cases of infection (total 158) but the almost 500 arrested for having circumvented the isolation.

Colorado.
We're doing pretty well here overall. Walmart and other stores are hit and miss. Lucky for us, we recently bought a big pack of TP!
So, as serious as this is, here's the reason this thing will stick around for longer than it should. Sometimes I really dislike this world.

Okay, I vomited in my mouth, just a little, when I saw this...
