The actor is Hans Christian Blech! For me one of the greatest actors. I loved him as Platzek in 08/15 where he played the grinder/flayer of the recruits - especially of Vierbein the main character in that great movie. At The Bridge of Remagen he played the Hauptmann of the BrÃ¼ckenkommando (bridge garrison). A real character actor. May he rest in peace!
