I am also not sure. I try I find the post over there at BF. If the search function wouldn't be such a pain in the...seldom I can identify the bot security check.

I encountered the some problem with parallel versions on the some Pc (the new MG upgraded CMBN + the old backup of the original CMBN)..
It seemed all ok, i could run MG after activation, then i launched old CMBN (from backup directory).. all worked .. except that when i launched again MG it was unlicensed !!
Are you sure that licensing again and again doesn't consumes our license counter ?
I seriously doubt that after 2 or 3 attempts we couldn't activate anymore the new module.

I'm not quite sure, but reactivation on the same computer does not consume licenses.
Someone confirmation?
 
LOL I'm trying to load the Oosterbeek mastermap and this has been going on for over 8 minutes without any result... :( this is massive! My PC even went into sleep mode while loading.
 
I copied the old 2.01 folder and then installed MG. I can start both versions without reactivation (OSX).
FYI
 
Guys was away. Downloading now. How it's working with old games, any test?

You are correct. As long as your computer hardware has not changed you should not have to use up an activation key. I have MG but am not too sure about upgrading with a double install seeing the problems it causes.

We have tourney games pending. I still have yet to get to your return files so do you guys want to restart with the upgrade or I can hold off installing MG until our games are finished. Eventhough it will be hard to hold off checking it out for another month or so. I am shooting out some PM's just in case you miss this post.
 
The only reason I'm not upgrading is Strachwitz and Dutch Grenadier, and I'm not even playing. :p I don't want the hassle of a double install.

Operation Overlord campaign could be an issue since battles will be soon(ish).

Them please guys confirm it. Im holding to install it couse a dozen of running pbems. If no issues with old games will upgrade at once.
 
Nort will proceed with 2 installs with the tips of bf. Will see how all that mess will behave and will report tips here
 
@Aulette see my message (conversation) with you. Everything you need to know is written there.

I am running 2 versions of CMBN now. One 2.01 and one MG 2.10. Works quite good. Just have to renter activation key for MG after starting CMBN 2.01. There is a link on the Desktop for that. So it's a bit uncomfortable but works just fine. And one of my PBEM transferred just fine to the new version if the right process is done. The "Bombersound" bug was only for one turn after that everything is back to normal.

If you could do it several times already, it seems to confirm this post by @Berto :
