The sassanids turn up to the party late and the Romans have all gone home.
Calvary aren't good at hiding. 
The Roman BLUE Faction's attempt to reclaim BRITANNIA from the Barbarian FRANKS suffers a crushing defeat (0% - 44% = -44% ) .
Tough game for @Bootie -- my Franks managed to pounce on some relatively isolated Roman units early on, Bootie lost two generals KIA and his flanking cavalry arrived too late to make a difference.

I am still advancing on my opponents, both of which are assuming a defensive stance.
I'm having trouble getting @Nathangun to come out of the woods, I know he's in there.
The battle continues, the Sassanids have been harrassing for a few turns and now it seems the Romans are making a move.
My legions saw off the counter invasion of PANNONIA by @Nelson1812 's troops with a 47 to 5 victory.
The RED attack into PANNONIA is repulsed by GREEN, inflicting a -42% defeat.

The green Romans have pushed the purple Romans out of Aegyptus with a 45-11 victory over @Nathangun . Our forces were evenly matched but I got lucky on the dice rolls. Tonight we dine on kebabs and falafel!
The Sassanids got tired of waiting for the Romans to come out to play and moved up, now the clash is starting to get more serious
