With the rank of Frigate Captain, he commanded 700 marines and 200 soldiers added as reinforcements by the Army during the fighting at Mount Tumbledown, Sapper Hill, and Mount William. Robacio and his men fought until after the ceasefire order was issued. He requested a counterattack and was denied because the ceasefire was in effect. When Port Argentino (Port Stanley) fell, his group was the only one to enter with their weapons shouldered and was applauded even by the British for their courage, professionalism, and determination in combat.

Robacio reached to the rank of Rear Admiral. He died in 2011.
