I've been watching it too and enjoying it.
It kind of has the feel of the old black-and-white Combat! TV series from yonks ago.
And with its comic book / illustrated novel style, kind of reminiscent of comic books like Commando.

I thought it was a going to be longer so was disappointed when it ended in 5.
Actually, I thought it was going to be a series, but I guess it was just a one shot wonder.
Too bad.
