Without doubt one of the best female vocalists of all time was Karen Carpenter, and here she is with her brother singing a great cover of a song originally recorded by the Canadian band Klaatu.........Quincy Jones stated that she had the best voice he ever worked with as a producer.

Speaking of belting voices......here's Ronnie James Dio at the height of his vocal powers from the excellent Rainbow Rising album......got bollocked by my mum too many times for rattling the windows with the vibrations when blasting this one one...........
