MeatEtr, I passed a triple lindy on the Kansas Turnpike between Topeka and Lawrence Thursday afternoon. They do triples west of the Mississippi, although not as many as a few years back.Thats illegal here in the States, I think two is the max. Looks like a train... get out of the way yikes!

But they aren't the full-length trailers, they are the shorter cargo vans. Also, I need to post a picture of them hauling windmill blades. THAT is a haul.

Took a drive Saturday to see one of my best friends down in Burden, Kansas near my old stomping grounds from my mis-spent youth. He and his wife opened a cafe, so I got the lunch buffet and yarned with him about the good ol' days when we were some hell-raising pups. This song sums up those good ol' days...
If you get off the interstate and take the back roads take US 160 through Burden and stop at Ma's Cafe, one block east of the water tower. Ask for Bob and tell him Barry sent ya'. The grub is damn good, worth the stop.
