What are you listening to right now?

From the superb Goodbye Yellow Brick road album, this is a great track...........

Here's another I like, from 1982......

Meanwhile, at the disco in 78........

and finally, a rather good instrumental cover of Hey Joe.

Just finished up the last couple of episodes of Six and highly recommend it. Was 8 episodes on the History Channel. Not sure if there will be another "season", but the end left it open to the possibility. And the end? Whew! Oh, just found out there will be a Season 2.

Anyway, here's a trailer for the show and the point of the topic, some music. To get the real effect of the song you need to (besides hitting your max volume button) picture three assault choppers, at tree top level, about 2 minutes out from a hot LZ. Enjoy.

Oh that looks good!!

@steve I was checking out some of those Joscho Stephan videos, I see he is a Django Reinhardt disciple. I really like that sound.
Also Johnny A
This bands guitarist is of the same cloth with the same "minor blues sound"

An early one from the Floyd, a rarely heard gem.

And this is well played.......

Back to Pink Floyd, the very wonderful Great gig in the sky from DSOTM with powerful vocals from Clare Torry.

Have always really loved this song, written and sung by Joni Mitchell, but here's a modern rendition that is great too.........
