Who's up for a session this Sunday? I've written a couple of missions I'd like to try if people are up for it;
First one is a 10 man foot patrol mission on Altis. Multiple tasks with an opportunity to practice squad and team movement, open and urban combat with various triggers. Contains a revive script and re-spawn.
Second & third missions are the kick off for a set of four missions following a theme. I want to try the patrol mission first as it has some scripts I want to test.
I'll host, let me know if anyone is interested.

Usually 1300hrs GMT. Ive got my little girl to look after from midday so instead of shooting virtual baddies I will be pretending to enjoy wooden sandwiches from her kiddies kitchen... LOL

Tried to get aboard again today, only today I couldn't get Arma3 to respond to even starting it.
Not happy with this game at all to this point. I have uninstalled it and am in the process of re-installing (Steam says 12 hour DL time). If it fails yet again, I will be chucking the whole idea, as I lack the technical skills to get through this dilemma.

Facman - What's your computer specs? Computer Speed? How much memory have you got? Type of Graphics Card etc?

Anyone else having FPS issues? Last week I had some low FPS but I figured that it was because we had heavy fighting in an urban environment next to the water. This time I had some more mostly in the urban areas again. Did not have the issue before so I'm wondering if it could be related to the latest patch.

Mmm Facman your rig is very similar to mine actually so no idea what's causing the problems, definitely powerful enough to run the game. I do suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game via steam and then try to connect to us next Sunday night. (or catch me on Steam during the week as I'm still on leave from work). Also don't select any beta patch options - just run the standard stable release. It could be you are running a different version of the game than the rest of us but I doubt it...
Only a slight drop as I interchange between zoom levels (scopes, binocs etc). Never had a problem in an urban environment but I'm running a GTX 690 2xGPU card with a view distance of over a couple of miles so probably not the best comparison.
I did re-install today, and was able to get to the Multi screen, but don't know what beta patches are, or how to stop them.
Good start. If you don't know about ARMA Beta patches means you haven't installed them, so that's not the issue.
