"Thousands of scientists and health experts have joined a global movement warning of "grave concerns" about Covid-19 lockdown policies.
Nearly 6,000 experts, including dozens from the UK, say the approach is having a devastating impact on physical and mental health as well as society.
They are calling for protection to be focused on the vulnerable, while healthy people get on with their lives."

My mother said the same when the pandemic broke out. "Why not just ask us old people to isolate for a while?"Yeah, my wife and I have been saying all along that the high-risk people should lockdown, everyone else should carry on.
That Aussie hasn't had a chance to wander the forums for a while since he's dealing with the economic fallout. His arguments were irrational and I stopped listening and hung up at that point.
Also, my post was an example of the mental sickness that is spreading across this nation and is found in equal parts on both sides of the fence. We don't want this to get political and have the thread shut down by a certain Aussie.
That's because if you show support for Trump you are attacked, both verbally and in some cases, physically. This isn't publicized in the news, because the media does not want folks to know that one segment of the population is having their First Amendment rights being denied by threats of violence. That might explain why there is a sizeable "silent majority" in the U.S.Honestly I find it hard to find Trump supporters in my neck of the woods.
If Trump wins Antifa is already on record as saying they'll escalate the violence. That threat in itself is voter intimidation.Just hope there isn't violence post election.
Also, Google "Groups that are threatening violence if Trump is re-elected?" Pay particular attention to the BBC news item from 2018 where the current violence was predicted as a result of the mid-term election outcome. You might be somewhat surprised at who predicted it.
PM me, I will send you the search terms I used, because I do not want to be accused of being too political or one-sided.Could you link to that article please? When I google that phrase, I only get results predicting violence by Trump supporters.
