Yes, every movie has it's mistakes and omissions for the sake of the plot. Brest Fortress is a great movie.

That's one of those movies that are kind of a "must see", but one that I don't really ever want to watch again. "Taxi Driver" and "Reservoir Dogs" are of the same ilk.
