ROUND #1 match ups

Have you tried verifying the game files through steam?
Right click on game title in steam library then Properties/Installed files/Verify integrity of games files

sspoom - I just checked your file and everything is ok. The file opens and run.

It is a issue with the amount of memory and his computer for this turn. The file size is actually smaller than others that have been played. Thus it has to be something in memory storage that is a temp for graphics or something along those lines.

Maybe if he cannot resolve it, I could play the turn and send it back and then hope the next turn works for him.

Also some players are making sure to set their views to locations where the machine does not need to open and generate a large area. That does seem to help.

i noticed it was the smallest size file we have had so far.... i am not sure but dont think it is memory storage problem or graphic memory... all other titles play fine... and i reloaded one of our first turns with no trouble.... as i said earlier i have had this problem before and it resolved itself without me doing anything... i have also restarted my computer and that seemed to fix it before.. but i have had a couple games that i could not complete because of this issue.... i am not that good with tech but i do know how to do some basic things (which i have already tried) but i have had this computer a couple years and in some huge scenarios it has a couple quirks that pop up from time to time.. not very often and most of the other quirks are gameplay issues ... but this one does happen... the things that do pop up usually resolve themselves after a couple turns including this out of memory crash... this happens in all titles but always on very huge maps with very large forces with a lot of elevation chances trees and or urban maps....

during my set up phase i did have some issues with some things like extremely long load times.. horrible frame rates... camera floating... and mouse clicks not registering or having a really long delay before registering... i saw this tip and it did seem to help some
