I won't dive into the politics. What I do know is that Australia and New Zealand are on the cusp of lowering restrictions following more than a week of good news with minimal new cases being reported and the curve being well and truly flattened. Not all restrictions will disappear overnight and some might be with us for a year yet. Given what's going on elsewhere in the world I don't think international passenger movements will be relaxed anytime soon. But at least we maybe able to start going to the pub again.

As for the "he said she said" banter being seen in other parts of the world this quote seems to sum up my thoughts on the matter.

Here in TN, the governor is lifting the stay at home order and allowing most businesses to reopen on May 1st, while still encouraging social distancing.
 
Kansas lifts the stay at home order May 3, KCMO extended their stay at home order until May 15th. Hey, let's see your mask MG. :)
 
Got told I was being put on furlough today....

It's fine. Thanks to the recent bipartisan U.S. COVID relief bill, I should receive plenty of money to stay at home, annoy the FGM admin staff, and put the smack down on @Nemesis in our current game.

Hey, @Badger73 , I am also now a "ward of the state", for the first time in my life. Any tips? ;-)
