Gotta love 'Merica! Don't worry guys, you're not alone. We're all sorts of stupid over in Europe too. Just had a breakfast coffee outside and a rant about what a shitshow it is here in Spain.

Very interesting. In my case, nothing has really changed in my life, other than I have to wear a mask at work. I see a lot of fear all around me, but I just carry on as I did before COVID. I will conform to any rules that are passed, but otherwise move forward as I did before any of this happened. Whatever.

Same here. I have one colleague who is really paranoid about it, but I don't personally care all that much any more.

And I think many people feel the same now - they pay lip service to all the restrictions etc but really they stopped caring. That's why we are seeing the number of cases surge back, not because some teenagers somewhere have thrown an illegal party.

Well that's totally crap. Look around people are sick people have died and are still ding. There is no need to believe the main stream media just talk to people. Better yet believe your public health doctors they are their to protect you.

I have probably already had it anyway, and was asymptomatic. Bet I have been in close contact with at least a dozen COVID+ patients, some of which only tested positive after I had already scanned them, wearing only a paper surgical mask.

I saw on the COVID world map, 31000000+ have/had it, 21000000+ recovered, >900000 but < 1000000 fatalites, less than 5% fatality rate of known cases. The remainder in varying states of recovery. If antibody tests indicate that the actual infection rate is 9 to 13 times greater than the population that has tested postive, that means as many as 403000000 persons may have had the virus. If that's the case, then the fatality rate is a whopping 0.24%.
