Yes, through Calling for Allies: It is possible that allies may bolster an army’s ranks on the eve of battle. For each friendly-controlled spaceat or adjacent to the site of battle, that side may roll a d10 on the Reinforcement Table.Go Rome! Romans can call on local help can't they?
Bloody Greeklings... grumbleSo, as far as I understand it, the sides can call for Allies from the following cities:
ROME: Asculum & Maleventum
PYRRHUS: Canusia & Venusia (+2 die roll modifier as it's a Samnite city) -- all Pyrrhus Die rolls also get +1 modifier for General's Greekling Trait.

Thus, game now set up as:
- Strength difference is 3 in Pyrrhic favour, the Pyrrhic side will have 1600 FP and the Roman 1480 FP. (+40 FP difference for each strength difference).
- Allies were successfully called from Samnite cities for both sides, both sides must use Samnite 355-272 BC allies, if they are available in the TT Mod. And if I recall correctly, only the Pyrrhic army list has Samnite allies as an option.
Pyrrhus 280-275 BC with Samnite 355-272 BC allies (1600 FP) versus Roman 280-220 BC (1480 FP) on Mediterranean Agricultural terrain.
